load current activity, as you were building the new bot

## Assistant

Loaded and cross-checked against what's actually on disk — the memory was stale past a certain point, so here's the real current state of the new bot at `/var/www/screener/trade`:

**Built and verified on disk:**
- `universe.py`, `scanner.py`, `run_scanner.py` — scanner piece, smoke-tested 09-16 (manual-only, no cron)
- `smart_engine.py` — 3-stage entry decision engine (Stage 1 continuous gate / Stage 2 18-20s persistence / Stage 3 resistance vs. ATR reward:risk), backtested against 6 real days of premarket/logs data. One real bug found+fixed (wall-clock vs. replay-timestamp in the pace check). The P&L comparison table from that backtest is **not trustworthy** — it used a throwaway exit rule that overtrades massively; the only solid signal from it is that Stage 3 correctly blocked the bad IIIV chase-entry.
- `stream.py` — copied from sip_bot (generic, includes its existing bugfixes)
- `exit.py` — built new: hard ATR stop + soft "2-of-4 signals sustained for 3 reads" deterioration exit, direct fix for the IIIV whipsaw
- `data_store.py` — new, positions/trades/full per-cycle indicator logging, atomic writes + singleton lock

**Not done, despite being explicitly requested in the last message of that session:**
- **`monitor.py` doesn't exist.** This was the actual ask — the orchestrator tying scanner→stream→smart_engine→exit→data_store together — and it was never started. The conversation log ends right after `exit.py`.
- **Cron is still fully commented out** for `screener/trade/monitor.py` (both the start and stop lines).
- No `entry.py`/order-placement wiring either.

So "have it running tomorrow" is not actually possible yet — the pieces are built but nothing is wired together or scheduled. I've updated the memory file to reflect this precisely so it doesn't get mis-summarized again.

Want me to pick up where that session left off and build `monitor.py`?

yes

Good, 120s matches what I planned. Now let me add the missing config key and write the two new files.

## Assistant

Now let me verify it actually compiles and imports cleanly, and sanity-check config.json is still valid JSON.

## Assistant

Good — the new independent paper account is live, reachable, and empty (as expected, nothing has traded yet). Now let me do a full dry-run smoke test of `SessionOrchestrator` construction plus the scan/entry/exit code paths against synthetic data, without touching the network beyond what's already verified.

## Assistant

`monitor.py` and `position_manager.py` are built and the glue (bars/quote/resistance shape conversions from stream → smart_engine/exit) is exception-free against synthetic data. Two things before I touch cron:

## Assistant

Good — it's just past midnight ET, well before the 9:30 AM cron trigger, so uncommenting now will let it fire naturally this morning. Let me edit the crontab.

## Assistant

Before enabling this, I caught a real bug in that commented cron block: it starts `monitor.py` at **9:30**, but `config.json`'s `premarket_scan_time` is 09:28 — starting at market open means the scan would run *after* the open, defeating the whole premarket design. sip_bot's own cron gives itself a 4-minute lead (starts at 9:25 for a 9:29 scan). I'll fix the start time to 9:25 to match, and leave the unrelated `trade1` block untouched.

## Assistant

Cron installed cleanly. Let me clean up the temp file and do one last sanity pass on file permissions/paths that cron will actually use.

## Assistant

Now let me update the memory to reflect that this is actually built and live-scheduled.

## Assistant

**Built and enabled:**

- **`position_manager.py`** — risk-based sizing off smart_engine's own Stage 3 stop, order submission/close via the existing wash-trade/position-not-found-aware `alpaca_client.py`, persists to `data_store`.
- **`monitor.py`** — the orchestrator: waits for premarket scan time → runs `universe`+`scanner` → subscribes `stream` to candidates → waits for open → poll loop (checks `exit.evaluate()` on open positions, `smart_engine.evaluate()` on watched candidates with a free slot, logs every decision via `data_store.append_decision_record()` whether or not it traded) → force-liquidates at 15:55 with a retry window → writes the day's trade summary. Writes/removes its own `monitor.pid` so the cron stop line has something to kill.

**Verified:** config/imports/compile all clean; the new independent paper account is live and reachable (equity $10,004.56, 0 positions); `SessionOrchestrator()` constructs without error; the bars/quote/resistance-dict glue between `stream.py`'s shapes and `smart_engine.py`/`exit.py`'s expected inputs runs without exceptions against synthetic data.

**Not verified:** an actual live market-hours run of the integrated pipeline — no real order has ever been submitted through this path.

**Cron:** fixed a real pre-existing bug in the process — the commented-out block had the start time wrong (9:30, i.e. *at* the open, not before it, despite its own comment saying 9:25) — then enabled it at the corrected 9:25 AM ET (matching sip_bot's own 4-minute lead before its 9:28 scan). Left the unrelated `trade1` cron block untouched. Per your call, this is going live unattended tomorrow (today) at 9:25 AM with no supervised dry run — worth watching `screener/trade/logs/` and `monitor.log` closely once the session runs, since this is the first time every piece has run together.

rc

## Assistant

Not sure what "rc" refers to here — could you clarify? A few guesses: run-check on the new `monitor.py`/cron setup, a config/rc file you want me to look at, or something else entirely?

I want access this chat from my iphone

## Assistant

This is exactly the kind of question the Claude Code docs agent can answer authoritatively — let me check.

## Assistant

I'm checking the Claude Code docs for the accurate, current way to do this — one sec.

<result>Based on the official Claude Code documentation:

**1. Viewing CLI session from claude.ai/code on phone browser:** No. The web version (claude.ai/code) runs *cloud sessions* (separate infrastructure), not connections to your existing local CLI session.

**2. Remote Control (the correct approach):** **Yes.** This is the feature for accessing a local CLI session from another device.

From your running CLI session on the server, either:
- Type `/remote-control` (if the session is already open), or
- Start fresh with `claude remote-control`

Then from your phone:
- **Install the Claude app** (iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/claude-by-anthropic/id6473753684)
- Sign in with the same claude.ai account
- Open the **Code** tab
- Scan the QR code your terminal displays, or select the session from the app's list
- Your local environment (filesystem, MCP servers, tools) stays accessible

Alternatively, open the session from **claude.ai/code** in Safari on your phone browser (same sign-in requirement).

**3. iOS app:** Yes—the Claude mobile app above is the native iOS client. Web Safari access also works.

**4. Other options:** Cloud sessions (`--cloud`), but those clone to Anthropic infrastructure and aren't continuations of your local session.

**Key requirement:** Sign in with the same claude.ai account on both the server CLI and your phone.</result>

Here's how to reach this exact session from your iPhone:

1. **Install the Claude app** on your iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/claude-by-anthropic/id6473753684
2. Sign in with the **same claude.ai account** you're using here.
3. Back on this terminal, run `/remote-control` (or restart with `claude remote-control` if you'd rather do it fresh).
4. In the iPhone app, open the **Code** tab and either scan the QR code the terminal shows, or pick this session from the list.

Once paired, your local environment — filesystem, this project, all the tools — stays accessible from the phone, so it's a real continuation of this session, not a separate cloud copy.

Note: opening claude.ai/code in Safari won't show this session — that's cloud-hosted sessions, a different thing from this local CLI session. Remote Control (above) is the actual path for what you want.
