# Conversation logs

Every Claude Code session against this project is saved automatically (via a `SessionEnd` hook, `.claude/hooks/log_conversation.sh`) as a readable Markdown transcript in `logs/conversations/`, named:

YYYY-MM-DD_HHMM_<slug-from-first-message>_<short-session-id>.md
```

When the user asks to see past conversations (e.g. "show all conversation names", "list our chats"), list the files in `logs/conversations/` (sorted by date) and let them pick one to open with Read — the filenames themselves are the "conversation names," there's no separate index to maintain.
